WWE COMMUNITY SERVICE EXPERIENCE: CLEVELAND
- Rob Crowther, Editor In Chief
Ahead of WWE's second most popular annual event Summer Slam in Cleveland, OH, World Wrestling Entertainment teamed up with The Greater Cleveland Food Bank, JimmyV.org, Mania Club, along with some help from fans to provide over 100,000 meals for the community, and raise over $82,000 for The Jimmy V Foundation.
Throughout the morning fans worked hard to measure, seal, and pack meals, but also were treated to special appearances by WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, then WWE Women's Champion Bayley, Chelsea Green, Vic Joseph, The Miz, Omos, Big E, and Drew McIntyre. The Superstars helped pack the meals, but also took time to take pictures and sign autographs. Also in attendance, was Cleveland Browns mascot, Chomps.
The event was very intimate and fun, but everyone was there to put in the work. Stellar job by everyone involved. You can contribute to JimmyV.org through Mania Club's Link at: v.org/maniaclub
