WWE RAW 2/3/25 REVIEW
- Rob Crowther, Editor In Chief
The RAW after Royal Rumble was an emotional one featuring appearances from both Royal Rumble winners in Main Event Jey Uso, and the returning Charlotte Flair. Seemingly, Jey is destined to take on Gunther at Mania, but perhaps not. Charlotte on the other hand, will be appearing on NXT and SmackDown to think about her decision for her opponent at WrestleMania.

Jey Uso opened the show with a promo that will live forever in the history of pro wrestling. Uce was legitimately teary eyed, overwhelmed, and speechless. At moments, it seemed as though he didn't know what to say, which made the moment feel that much more genuine. Uso mustered up the words to thank the fans who went on this ride with him. He thanked them for helping him prove that he wasn't just a "tag team guy." He knows he has the ball now and that it is HIS time.
The heartfelt moment was cut short when World Heavyweight Champion Gunther interrupted. Gunther who has beaten Jey multiple times, stated that Jey dare not challenge him because it would only downgrade Gunther's status. Gunther said that he would make Jey's life miserable week after week if he were to choose the World Heavyweight Champion for WrestleMania. However it seems as though Uso won't back down.

The opening match of the night featured the red hot Penta versus mega heel Ludwig Kaiser. Great match here as both competitors are rapidly on the rise. Penta is already a megastar and secured another big win after a stellar performance in his debut Royal Rumble showing. Post-match Pete Dunne makes his presence known.

The NEW New Day (complete with new entrance tunage) defeated Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee in a great match where Lee did an amazing over the top rope hurricanrana to the outside, unlike anything I'd ever seen before. Lee and Mysterio lose the match due to interference from Logan Paul who Rey will be facing next week in an Elimination Chamber qualifying bout.

Liv Morgan qualifies for the Elmination Chamber with a victory over Iyo Skye after interference from Raquel and Rhea Ripley. Ripley retaliates on an attack from Morgan, inadvertently allowing Morgan to win by DQ. Some frustration from Skye post match, and I'm kind of here for Iyo vs. Rhea. Book it!

Women's Royal Rumble winner Charlotte Flair makes her way to the ring to a chorus of "boos!" I found it somewhat surprising Flair was being booed early on because she was talking about how hard it was to come back from her injury. No sympathy from the live crowd who had earlier endeared themselves to Jey Uso. Charlotte is confronted by Women's World Champion Rhea Ripley who says that she respects Flair. Flair doesn't return the compliment, as she calls Rhea a child. Rhea wants the match at Mania, but we shall see who the Queen sets her sights on.

Before his qualifying match, Sami Zayn is given an inspiring Pep Talk by Seth Rollins essentially building Sami up so he can tear CM Punk down. Punk however, wins his match against Zayn, allowing him to qualify for the Elimination Chamber alongside John Cena. A show of respect post-match, but we go off the air as a battered Kevin Owens hits a devastating package pile driver on Zayn.
